ABOUT

The only family-friendly live music festival in Richmondshire

BrowsonBeats is a family-oriented music festival which aims to give everyone a fantastic day (and night) out whilst raising money for two amazing charities – Pancreatic Cancer UK and Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

We have come back bigger and stronger with an exciting line-up of ten hours of live music, fabulous food and children’s activities, as well as camping and glamping.

The festival offers a diverse mix of music styles from folk, rock and jazz through to close harmony and brass. There will be regular favourites making a return such as Ginger Brown, The Black Thorns and Pearls, with some great talented newcomers to widen the appeal of the Festival, including Lost Keys, Bluesics, Sweet Pin, Julia Buckley, Reeth Brass Band and Richmond School & Sixth Form College’s Jazz Band and Choir.

We have a fabulous competitively priced bar with a wide selection of drinks available. For the kids (big and small!) there will be an ice cream van as well as soft and hot drinks on offer.

All tastes and dietary requirements will be taken care of with our locally-sourced, high-quality food.

Children’s games will be organised and run by wonderful students from Richmond Sixth Form College.

INFO

FESTIVAL

• Tickets are available here or in person from the box office, at King Street Kitchen & Gifts in Richmond.

• Adult entry is £25, £5 for under 16s and under 2s are free.

• For younger visitors, there will also be other attractions such as outdoor games, craft-making, face painting and bouncy castles.

• Entry from 12 midday, live music from 13:00, dancing into the small hours.

• The bar will take vouchers only, which can be purchased on-site at the festival.

• Food vendors are a mixture of cash and card so please be prepared for both.

• There is limited parking available on site so we encourage festival goers to share lifts or take a taxi. At our last festival many of our visitors car-shared and we’d love it if even more could do this in 2022.

CAMPING

• Glamping options and limited camping available.
• To book camping/ campervan – £10 per pitch – and to find out more about glamping call 07817 903208
• Entry to camping from 10am and not later than midday to set up tents.

GUIDELINES
  • We’ve carefully selected some fantastic caterers so there will be a wide variety of great locally sourced food and drink, at very reasonable prices
  • The main reason for this is that BrowsonBeats is taking place on a working farm so it’s important to keep litter to a minimum and essential that no glass is brought on site
  • Visitors are invited to bring their own food, soft and alcoholic drinks (strictly no glass), chairs and picnic blankets, and don’t forget your parasol which can double up as an umbrella, if needed, although nothing will dampen the spirits of BrowsonBeats!
  • Respect the out of bounds areas
  • Sorry, no dogs
